Who we are and what we do

We have started this blog to give people reading an insight into Shropshire Raft Tour’s new venture located in Ironbridge, Shropshire. The boat trips travel 2 kilometers downstream from just above The Museum of the Gorge and finishing downstream at Jackfield. The rafts are 25ft long (the biggest in the UK) and act like river taxis to take people on a tour of the Ironbridge Gorge and through the World Heritage site and the famous Iron Bridge located in the middle of our trip. Here’s some photos for you to see exactly how our boat trips look like.

This is a raft trip with a difference. It caters for all ages due to no whitewater. There are no wetsuits needed, we supply lifejackets and ponchos (if needed). It’s a great way to spend a morning or afternoon with a round trip of 2-2.5 hours.
