After chatting with our guests, the main feedback has been that the trip is fun but 5 kilometres is too far due to it being a boat tour for all ages. Therefore we are keeping the 2 hour round trip (from start to finish including safety talk, time on the river and shuttle bus back to start) but will cut the distance down not to over run. We tended to over run on each trip we did causing delays for further activities in and around Ironbridge.
This keeps us at leisurely pace rather than rushing the trip. We can stop, pull over and take time to talk about key attractions with history along the way.
Me thinks it makes sense and our customers are key for this feedback.
